I don’t like being overly negative because I didn’t start writing this blog to be a critic or a jerk about people’s work and efforts. But if I’m being honest, I don’t like this remix. And it isn’t so much a remix as it is an isolation of Wes Miles’ vocals put to another piece of music. And the new piece of music isn’t so great. The sound is in the vein of a modern pop-punk outfit or some other band I can’t give you a comparison to, mainly because I would never listen to them. To me, there is not much unique or exciting here, and the original far outshines this version.
