What had been one of the great unreleased albums of all time, Q-Tip’s jazzy, smooth Kamaal: The Abstract finally saw the light of widespread release last year after the success of The Renaissance. I’ve been enjoying it for a while; I don’t know if there was a lot of reproduction on the new version, but this is my favorite track from the version of the album I have.
It’s the last song on the album, and it’s a nice closer. I’ve got the weather on my mind lately, and this is no exception to my recent penchant for upbeat, summertime tracks. Take it in and think about having drinks outside.
