It’s hard to believe that it’s nearing the end of October.  This weekend I saw Christmas stuff out for the first time in force; at least they haven’t started playing the music yet.  As 2009 closes, there are still some releases to look forward to.  This week, the Ben Gibbard/Jay Farrar soundtrack to the upcoming Kerouac documentary tops our personal “must buy” list.

Beyond that, it’s all about choice.  Whether it’s the goof-rock of Flight of the Conchords or the German metal of Rammstein, we hope you find something worth your time.  Have a great week.

That White Denim album is lights out, a real jazzy sound thats definitely something different. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of that new Ben Gibbard, managed to catch one track and it sounds super mossy. Noticed your listening to Big Pink, cannot get enough of that album front to back, covered a bit of it on the blog. Keep up the great work
