This is a heavyweight week for the music industry. Bon Jovi and Flyleaf have new albums; The Killers, Kings of Leon and Jason Mraz have live releases looming, and there is a two disc AC/DC retrospective as well. Beyond that, if you scratch just beneath the surface, you can find a couple new releases worth picking up. The reissue of the Nada Surf EP, the Saint Etienne LP and the Wale release all look interesting, and if you’re into the prog-rock of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (which I like, but in very small doses), that’s out too.
As ever, we’ve got a couple of tracks designed to jog your memory and loosen up the old wallet. Have a great week everyone, and we hope you find something worth your time and money.
