This first Tuesday of May is a solid one for new music; May and June generally provide pretty fertile ground for good albums (I’m basing that statement merely on the fact that our numbers 1 and 2 albums of 2009 were released in May and June, respectively).
This week doesn’t disappoint either, with no less than 3 certain purchases in the albums from Broken Social Scene, The New Pornographers and Josh Ritter. After that, Dave will undoubtedly buy the Deftones album, and we might pick up the new ones from Minus the Bear, The Hold Steady (maybe) and Free Energy.
Like always, there are some tracks after the list to whet your appetite, and we hope everyone has an excellent week. Find something you love. The weather’s getting warm.
