New Releases: April 27th

New Releases: April 27thNot a particularly great week for new music; personally, we’ll probably check out the Two Door Cinema Club release, but there isn’t much else that jumps out.  I bought a Jesse Malin album once, when I was big into Ryan Adams because I’d heard that they were friends, and sounded similar.  And I was sorely disappointed.  Maybe he’s better now than he was when The Heat was released.  Or maybe I’m better.  I guess I should break it back out and try again.

As always, there are a couple of tracks for your listening after the list to get yourself in the spending mood.  We hope everyone’s week is going fantastically thus far.

Nothing new for me this week. I will be going to Lakeshore though to pickup the vinyl copy of the Laura Veirs record that showed up 3.5 months after I first asked about it. I was holding off on buying the CD version waiting for the second vinyl pressing and my patience was rewarded. I was pretty impressed they still had my contact info on record at the shop…
