[mp3] Pomegranates – 50′s

POMSFANGS1 [mp3] Pomegranates 50s

Not only are Pomegranates named after what is currently the world’s buzziest fruit (I mean, really, can you sit down and watch TV without a commercial for Pom coming on?), but the music they make should bring them just as much chatter.  The Queen City quartet will soon be releasing their third LP, and their first on new label Afternoon Records – One of Us.  It’s filled with smart indie pop encompassing a wide swath of styles and ranges.  If you like music at all, you’ll find something here that you will enjoy.

The band is out on tour for the next month or so, with dates the next two days at CMJ before heading out on the road with Oh No Oh My for a grip of dates in the Midwest and Western part of the US.  Head over to their MySpace for the full range of where they’ll be playing.  You can pre-order One of US over at Afternoon Records right now as well on CD or double vinyl.
