[mp3] No Age – Glitter

While I’m uncertain if No Age have another “Eraser” in them somewhere, they are the rare lo-fi band I’ve liked from inception. Plus, I’ll always remember the band’s involvement in an incident when one half was dissuaded from wearing an Obama shirt, prior to the 2008 election, on Craig Ferguson’s late show on CBS. As such, I’ve got a soft spot for them and regard most of their work with adoration. In anticipation of their forthcoming record, Everything in Between, which is set to drop September 28th, Sub Pop has released the lead single “Glitter.” It’s a standard, solidly good No Age track, though more of a laid-back type affair, loaded with distorted feedback and morose vocals. Enjoy “Glitter” below, and head to Sub Pop to stream another track, “Inflorescence.”
