Apparently Josh Rouse’s track “Flight Attendant” is used in the new Julia Roberts movie Eat Pray Love. While that makes me feel absolutely nothing in and of itself (except for perhaps a slight case of upset stomach), the response that fact elicits from Rouse makes me happy.
In honor of the occasion, he is giving away a quick 5 song EP that was culled from various radio performances. It’s called, appropriately, El Turista en la Radio, and is available through his website for just an e-mail address. Although, to be fair, “Flight Attendant” is from Rouse’s best album – 1972 – and not El Turista. That might be splitting hairs on my part. Regardless, Rouse’s easy tenor is always relaxing, and these live tracks are no exception.
