Philadelphia’s A Sunny Day in Glasgow is a band I’ve not given much thought to in the past. Never entirely sold on anything I’ve heard, the band gave away an entire album I didn’t much care for back in October. That being said, I was a bit surprised when I saw the video for “So Bloody, So Tight” and enjoyed it. The track, released prior to their free album on an EP, exudes an intentionally odd hipster vibe that I’m fine with.

Perhaps speaking to my trepidation regarding the band, I don’t particularly care for the entirety of track, namely the instrumental bridges that coincide with the band prancing around to jittery camera shots. Fortunately, I enjoy the rest of the chameleon shots in the video, and the harmonizing female vocals are a certain strong point, making this track/video solid enough to enjoy quite a bit.
