I’ve had a post centered on this song in our drafts box for months. Despite its relatively geriatric state, my inclusion of it within my favorite tracks of 2010 post from earlier today dredged up my desire to post it once again. Released back in September, sharing a 7″ with another track, it’s a relentlessly poppy entree in what we can hopefully expect from the band forthwith. The Portland quartet’s sophomore release, Reptilians, is slated for release March 8th; fortuitously enough, you can pre-order it now right from the front page of Polyvinyl’s website, and in doing so, get an instant mp3 download of the entire album.

Fulfilling some of the promise “Julius” showed, though in a less poppy manner, gift wrapped lead single “Bury Us Alive” has recently been made available by the label for the low price of an email address. I’m pleased to make it available here as well, though you are certainly urged to get it from Polyvinyl if you want news regarding their upcoming releases and the like.
