[mp3] Introducing // Hourglass Sea

Hailing from Bradford, England, Hourglass Sea is the performance moniker of one Dean Bentley, who makes glitchy, instrumental funk with whatever sounds he can get his hands on. (There seems to be a decent dose of video game sounds incorporated in his tracks.)

Bentley sent along two tracks – the two singles he’s released to this point – and they are both intriguing. ”Teenager” is the newer of the two, but he’s released both of the songs in the past month or so. And, his next single is due in a couple of weeks as well. There’s no rest for the weary, I suppose. Especially not when things sound this good.
