This post is a direct result of the work of Amie Street’s editors. The following track was (and still is) a free download from the site. I downloaded it and enjoyed it before subsequently purchasing the rest of the album. To this point I haven’t listened to much of it, nor had I listened to this track again, but this past weekend I created an mp3 disc with about a hundred of this year’s best tracks thus far to help myself whittle down my favorites. I must say this song impressed me once again and I listened to it a few times over the weekend. Apparently my initial impression and quick rating in iTunes was prescient enough.
