For the past couple of Fridays I’ve been just putting my iPod on shuffle and going about my day at work. I’ve been tweeting what comes up, and this past Friday, Mark Kozelek’s version of the AC/DC song “Rock ‘N’ Roll Singer” came up, and reminded me of just how much I liked “Krazy Koz” when that EP came out. This afternoon’s track is from that EP.
In fact, I’d say that this song is my favorite of his entire catalog – Red House Painters, solo, or Sun Kil Moon. And that’s high praise since I like his work quite a bit. This particular track is one of Mr. Kozelek’s most optimistic, comfortable ones at that. It feels like weekends around the house.
