Consisting primarily of husband and wife duo David and Meredith Metcalf, the album is the band’s third off the Secretly Canadian label. When performing live, the band plays with other parts to enrich their sound. At least on “Open Rhythms,” that sound could be described as a chill, retro indie rock with mature and confident undertones. There is something undeniably sexy to this track, and it would make a good sexy-time mixtape staple. More for getting in the mood than getting it on, give it a listen and finish your business, then visit the appropriate sites.
